"Access to and around the new Octagon Theatre is at the heart of the design. There will be level access from the car park to the venue, the lift front of house will be refurbished and a new lift will be installed backstage allowing level access to the stage for those that need it.

There is a bespoke Quiet Room for anyone who needs to take advantage of the space and we’ve retained designated wheelchair spaces in the auditorium, whilst considering the needs of everyone and taking on board feedback from our Octagon & Westlands Access Group. There has also been a designated Access Consultant on the project team to provide access advice."
